Soccer Game Recap: Columbia vs. Towers

The Columbia Eagles lost against the Towers Titans back in March of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Columbia suffered a tough 6-2 defeat at the hands of Towers. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Columbia was already down 4-0.

Shay-lin Rodriguez and Daleya Boston did their best for Columbia and scored both of Columbia's goals. Those were goals were season-firsts for both players.

This is the second loss in a row for Columbia and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Towers, their win bumped their record up to 1-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Columbia will challenge Cross Keys at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Towers will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against Cedar Grove at 4:20 p.m. on February 29th.
