Football Game Preview: Kane Wolves vs. Bradford Owls

Kane has gone 8-2 against Bradford recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Wolves will look to defend their home field against the Owls at 7:00 p.m. Kane will be strutting in after a victory while Bradford will be coming in after a defeat.

On Friday, Kane blew past Moniteau, posting a 38-7 win. The Wolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by 26 points or more this season.

Eric Novosel went supernova, rushing for 116 yards and one TD on only 12 carries, while also throwing for 126 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 78.9% of his passes. Those 116 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Evan Anderson was another key player, rushing for 90 yards and one score.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Kane was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 257 rushing yards. They are a perfect 6-0 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

Meanwhile, Bradford was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were beaten by St. Marys 68-6.

Kane has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 35.2 points over those games. As for Bradford, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.

Kane was able to grind out a solid win over Bradford in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, winning 14-7. Will the Wolves repeat their success, or do the Owls have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
