Crestview and Monroeville are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2020, but not for long. The Cougars will take on the Eagles at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Monroeville took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Crestview, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with three losses in a row, Crestview turned things around against South Central on Tuesday. They blew past the Trojans 65-38.

Monroeville had taken St. Paul down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Thursday. The Eagles took a 54-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Flyers.

Crestview's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Monroeville, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9.

Everything came up roses for Crestview against Monroeville when the teams last played back in December of 2025, as the squad secured a 75-33 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Cougars since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
