Football Recap: Broken Bow Piles Up the Points Against Wagoner

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Broken Bow walked away with it. They claimed a resounding 70-35 victory over the Wagoner Bulldogs. The win was nothing new for the Savages as they're now sitting on six straight.

Broken Bow was led to victory by Greydon Howell and Jattairrius Neal. Howell threw for 312 yards and five TDs while completing 91.3% of his passes, while Neal gained 251 total yards and six touchdowns. Howell was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 67 yards. Broken Bow's leading receiver Dejhaun Hall was Howell's top target yet again, picking up 113 receiving yards and one touchdown.

Broken Bow was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 296 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 168 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Broken Bow's victory bumped their record up to 10-1. As for Wagoner, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Coming up, Broken Bow will be playing in front of their home fans against Weatherford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That game will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Howell and Noah Wald. Wagoner does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
