Preview: Bret Harte vs. Amador
On Friday Amador take on Bret Harte at 7:00 PM. Amador have the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency.
After a dominant win in their matchup three weeks ago, Amador were humbled last Friday. They fell just short of Calaveras by a score of 27-29. Amador's loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 48 points the game before, Bret Harte faltered in their match last Friday. They took a serious blow against Sonora, falling 7-47. Bret Harte were down by 7-35 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
With the two teams each stumbling in off of a defeat, both will be hungry for the victory. We'll see which team satisfies their hunger and which team leaves with an empty stomach.
