Basketball Recap: Olentangy Braves vs. Bishop Hartley Hawks
The Olentangy Braves stacked an 11th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Wednesday. They blew past Bishop Hartley, posting a 73-28 victory at home. Winning may never get old, but Olentangy sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Olentangy found their leader in underclassman Sydney Mobley, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. Mobley has been hot recently, having posted 17 or more points the last six times she's played. Another player making a difference was Kate Mosher, who scored 12 points along with five steals.
Olentangy's victory bumped their record up to 18-1. As for Bishop Hartley, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Olentangy will take on the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hilliard Darby is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. As for Bishop Hartley, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Warriors at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
