Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Kyle Crissey and Matthew Jessee Lead Great Hearts Irving to Victory

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Great Hearts Irving ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They secured a 50-46 W over Tournament Opponent. That's the sixth time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 32-27 on Saturday.

Leading Great Hearts Irving to victory were Matthew Jessee and Kyle Crissey. Jessee went 8 for 13 en route to 17 points, while Crissey posted 12 points along with eight rebounds and three blocks. Johnny Butler was another key player, putting up six points.

The win made it two in a row for Great Hearts Irving and bumps their season record up to 11-4.

Great Hearts Irving will be playing at home against Newman International Academy at 10:00 a.m. on February 1st. Great Hearts Irving is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57.4 points per game this season.
