Basketball Game Preview: Mid-Carolina Rebels vs. Clinton Red Devils

The Mid-Carolina Rebels will challenge the Clinton Red Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mid-Carolina has given up an average of 53.9 points per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Mid-Carolina and Eau Claire have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Saturday. The Rebels fell 62-51 to the Shamrocks. The defeat continues a trend for the Rebels in their meetings with the Shamrocks: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Clinton waltzed into their game on Friday with 11 straight wins... but they left with 12. They took down the Shamrocks 66-52.

Mid-Carolina's loss dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Clinton, their win bumped their record up to 16-8.

Mid-Carolina was dealt a bruising 69-33 defeat at the hands of Clinton when the teams last played back in January. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Rebels were down 45-14.
