Basketball Recap: Bloomfield Christian School Takes a Loss

If Bloomfield Christian School was feeling good fresh off their 68-30 takedown of Auburn Hills Christian last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bloomfield Christian School Defenders came up short against the Livingston Christian Falcons on Friday, falling 82-62. The loss was the Defenders' first of the season.

When it comes to explaining why Bloomfield Christian School lost, don't look at Owen Thomas. Despite the final result, he went 8 for 20 on his way to 23 points and six rebounds. Thomas' evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Ignatowski, who posted 13 points.

Having lost for the first time this season, Bloomfield Christian School fell to 2-1. As for Livingston Christian, they now have a winning record of 2-1-1.

Bloomfield Christian School didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 56-52 defeat against Springfield Christian Academy on the 17th. As for Livingston Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 79-45 win against Jackson Christian on the 14th.
