Volleyball Recap: Illinois Math & Science Academy Takes a Loss

Illinois Math & Science Academy and Kaneland squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Illinois Math & Science Academy had to settle for second. They fell 2-0 to the Knights. The Titans' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it 13 in a row.

Their offense was headlined by Marijka Ristic and Kateryna Honchar, who picked up two kills apiece. They got some help from Fiza Shaikh and her three assists. Ristic and Honchar were also some pesky defenders, as each blocked three attacks.

Illinois Math & Science Academy's loss dropped their record down to 12-22-1. As for Kaneland, their victory bumped their record up to 12-23.

Illinois Math & Science Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kaneland, they will take on Timothy Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
