Baseball Game Preview: Hesperia Scorpions vs. Apple Valley Sun Devils

For the second straight game, Hesperia will face off against Apple Valley. The Scorpions will be playing in front of their home fans against the Sun Devils at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Hesperia is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.1 runs per game this season.

Hesperia came out on top against Apple Valley on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run seventh inning. The Scorpions walked away with a 9-6 victory over the Sun Devils. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Scorpions.

Tyler Oerman made a big impact no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
