Basketball Recap: Keenan's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Keenan waltzed into their game on Friday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Lake City Panthers by a score of 58-49.

Despite the defeat, Lake City saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Hannah Riles posted 21 points and seven boards. Riles' evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Na'Shira Starks, who earned eight points and ten rebounds.

Keenan now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Lake City, they moved to 5-3 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Keenan and Bishop England will round out the year against one another at at 1:45 p.m. on December 30th. As for Lake City, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hartsville at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
