Softball Recap: Six Straight Home Wins for West Washington

West Washington's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They never let the Crawford County Wolfpack get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory. Considering the Senators have won seven matches by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Macy Lowery was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs.

West Washington pushed their record up to 10-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.2 runs over those games. As for Crawford County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Looking ahead, West Washington will be playing at home against Trinity Lutheran at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Crawford County, they will head out on the road to challenge Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
