Volleyball Recap: Frankenmuth Comes Up Short

Frankenmuth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Assumption Rockets.

Among those leading the charge was Addison Hurley, who had 21 assists and two aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last eight matches. Cheyenne Reyes also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Frankenmuth's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9-4. As for Assumption, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 23-4.

Frankenmuth has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Sandburg on the 4th. As for Assumption, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Minooka on the 3rd.
