Baseball Recap: Meek Takes a Loss

After flying high against Falkville last Saturday, Meek came back down to earth. The Tigers came up short against the Addison Bulldogs on Tuesday, falling 13-1. The match marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meek saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brady Baxter, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one double.

Meek's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Addison, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-9 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Addison beat Meek by a score of 11-1 later that day.
