After losing to Sloan-Hendrix the last time they met, Izard County decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Cougars came out on top against the Greyhounds by a score of 5-1 on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cougars.

Izard County's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Sloan-Hendrix, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Izard County will challenge Cotter at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sloan-Hendrix, they will square off against Corning at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
