It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Auburn ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Nokomis Redskins, sneaking past 6-5. This was payback for the Trojans, who suffered a 4-3 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Brady Boylen made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits.
