Basketball Recap: Texas School for the Deaf Comes Up Short

Texas School for the Deaf was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by the Hill Country Christian School of Austin Knights 71-22. While losing is never fun, the Rangers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1168th, while the Knights are ranked 466th).

Texas School for the Deaf's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Hill Country Christian School of Austin, their victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Texas School for the Deaf will venture away from home to face off against Concordia at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hill Country Christian School of Austin, they are taking a road trip to challenge Austin Royals HomeSchool at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
