Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Washington). Their pitcher stepped up to hand the North Pitt Panthers a 17-0 shutout on Monday. Winning may never get old, but the Pam Pack sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

Emma Orr was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 11 over five innings pitched. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up a single earned run in six consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and one double.

In other batting news, Carly Woolard was a standout: she scored three runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024. Addison Miller was another key player, going 2-for-5 with three RBI, one triple, and one run.

Washington hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least three batters in seven consecutive games.
