If Hancock County wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Washburn, they should've done a better job of containing Ebany Hill. Everything went the Washburn Pirates' way against the Hancock County Indians on Friday as the Washburn Pirates made off with a 53-28 victory thanks to Hill, who went 6-for-11 from beyond the arc to rack up 26 points and five steals. Washburn is 15-2 when Hill posts three or more steals, but 4-7 otherwise.

The team also got some help courtesy of Hannah Williams, who posted 14 points and three steals. She has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last four times she's played.

Washburn is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.4 points over those games. Hancock County is on a 33-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-19.

As of now, neither Washburn nor Hancock County have any future games scheduled.
