Football Recap: St. Pius X Takes a Loss

The home team had come away the winner the last five times St. Pius X and Concordia Lutheran had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Panthers took a 28-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crusaders on Friday. The Panthers lost against the Crusaders in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 49-8 score last time.

Although St. Pius X took the loss, they still got scores from Mason Brown, Jonas Boone, and Amir Parks-Brooks.

St. Pius X's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Concordia Lutheran, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

St. Pius X wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 31-23 victory against St. Michael's on the 10th. As for Concordia Lutheran, they have also already played their next game, a 38-21 win against Central Catholic on the 10th.
