The matchup between King and North Shore on Friday hardly resembled the 1-0 effort from their previous meeting. King blew past North Shore 17-4. Considering the Panthers have won ten games by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the third in a row for King, bringing their record up to 13-7. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for North Shore, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-9 record this season.

King has already played their next contest, a 10-0 win against Channelview on the 25th. As for North Shore, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 3-2 defeat against Summer Creek on the 25th.
