Volleyball Game Preview: Cottonwood Classical Prep Coyotes vs. East Mountain Timberwolves + Official Tickets

The Cottonwood Classical Prep Coyotes will face off against the East Mountain Timberwolves at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Cottonwood Classical Prep will be looking to extend their current 11-game winning streak.

On Friday, Cottonwood Classical Prep made easy work of Bosque and carried off a 3-0 win.

While Cottonwood Classical Prep won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-22, 25-16.

Meanwhile, East Mountain came up short against Sandia Prep on Thursday, falling 3-0. The Timberwolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-15, 25-11.

Despite the loss, East Mountain saw an underclassman step up: freshman Henley Hatley had 16 digs and one assist. Hatley is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in each of the last 17 games she's played.

Cottonwood Classical Prep's victory bumped their record up to 16-4. As for East Mountain, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-11.

Cottonwood Classical Prep took their win against East Mountain in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Coyotes repeat their success, or do the Timberwolves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
