Soccer Recap: West Field Victorious

West Field took a three-goal defeat the last time they faced off against Layton, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Longhorns narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Lancers 3-2. West Field's winning goal came courtesy of Julia Robbins.

The win got West Field back to even at 2-2. As for Layton, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. West Field will head out to take on Ogden at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Layton, they will venture away from home to square off against Riverton at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
