Volleyball Recap: Lincoln's Victory on Thursday Extends Winning Streak to Two

Lincoln won the last time they faced Centennial, and Lauren Tedrick did her part to make sure it happened again. The Railsplitters came out on top against the Chargers by a score of 2-0 on Thursday for which the team can thank Tedrick, who had eight aces, six digs, and three blocks. She is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last nine games she's played dating back to last season.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Lincoln took both sets by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-13.

Lincoln has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. As for Centennial, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Lincoln has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Rochester on the 2nd. As for Centennial, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against St. Thomas More on the 2nd.
