Basketball Recap: Mapleton Takes a Loss

Mapleton lost against Hillsdale back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Mapleton Mounties took a 68-54 bruising from the Hillsdale Falcons. The Mounties' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Mapleton's record is now 9-6. As for Hillsdale, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mapleton has already played their next match (against Crestview), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Hillsdale will host Waynedale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Waynedale has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
