The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Tigers considering their two-run performance the game before.

The win made it two in a row for Meigs County and bumps their season record up to 7-10. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for McMinn Central, they dropped their record down to 10-11 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Meigs County will take on Polk County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers are facing the Wildcats at the right time seeing as the Wildcats are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
