Soccer Recap: Eastside Early College Comes Up Short

Eastside Early College's game on Monday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Burnet Bulldogs by a score of 3-2. That's two games in a row now that the Panthers have lost by just one goal.

Eastside Early College's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Burnet, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season.

Looking ahead, Eastside Early College will square off against Northeast Early College at 10:45 a.m. on Friday. Northeast Early College is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.4 goals per game this season. As for Burnet, they will face off against Florence at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Burnet is facing Florence at the right time seeing as Florence is stuck on an 11-game losing streak.
