Basketball Game Preview: Gateway Gators vs. International Jaguars

The Gateway Gators will challenge the International Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gateway will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.

Last Friday, Gateway strolled past Drew with points to spare, taking the game 69-50. Given the Gators' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 369th, while the Dragons are ranked 947th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, International earned a 61-52 win over San Francisco Waldorf on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Jaguars.

Gateway has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.4 points per game. As for International, their victory bumped their record up to 9-11.

Gateway beat International 47-40 in their previous matchup two weeks ago. Does Gateway have another victory up their sleeve, or will International turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
