Recap: Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family vs. Universal Stars
In what's become a running theme this season, Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family gave their fans yet another huge win on Monday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Universal 64-15 at home. The win was some much needed relief for Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.
Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Elizabeth Beto out in front who dropped a triple-double on 18 points, 15 rebounds, and 11 assists. Beto is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last six games she's played. Another player making a difference was Alice Hansen, who scored 21 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family's win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 10-10. As for Universal, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family will stay at home for another game and welcome the Sentinels at 6:00 p.m. on February 1st. As for Universal, they will head out on the road to face off against the Legends at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
