Volleyball Recap: Master's Academy Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

While Master's Academy's win against Brevard Christian wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Patriots won by a set and slipped past the War Eagles 3-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in August.

Master's Academy took Brevard Christian into a fifth set where they got it done with a nine-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-16, 20-25, 22-25, 15-6.

Fiona Martin paced Master's Academy's offense, picking up nine kills. Martin got some help from Annie Manzi and her 25 assists. Alison Viersma controlled things from the service line, finishing with seven aces.

The victory (which was Master's Academy's third in a row) raised their record to 7-3. As for Brevard Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Master's Academy will challenge Calvary Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Brevard Christian, they will be playing at home against City of Life Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
