Basketball Recap: New Haven Comes Up Short

New Haven was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 58-24 loss at the hands of the Sandusky Wolves. While losing is never fun, the Rockets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 650th, while the Wolves are ranked 115th).

New Haven's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Sandusky, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-2.

New Haven does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sandusky, they will be taking part in a tournament against Brown City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sandusky's defense has only allowed 24.6 points per game this season, so Brown City's offense will have their work cut out for them.
