Meanwhile, everything went McMinn Central's way against Alcoa on Saturday as McMinn Central made off with a 72-50 win. The Chargers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 24 matches by 21 points or more this season.

Loretto's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-8. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.9 points on average over those games. As for McMinn Central, their win bumped their record up to 30-1.
