Basketball Recap: Carson Picks Up Fifth Straight Win at Home

While Carson's win against West Rowan wasn't quite the blowout they won the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Carson Cougars had just enough and edged the West Rowan Falcons out 60-57. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Cougars have posted since February 2, 2024.

West Rowan's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Josiah Young, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine assists. The dominant performance gave Young a new career-high in assists. Evan Kennedy was another key player, putting up 19 points.
