Softball Recap: Tabb Comes Up Short

Tabb lost against York back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tigers lost 14-1 to the Falcons. The contest marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Tabb saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ashlyn Grogg, who scored a run while going 1-for-1. That hit was Grogg's first of the season.

This is the second loss in a row for Tabb and nudges their season record down to 4-4. As for York, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Tabb will face off against rival Lafayette at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, York is set to challenge their familiar foe Grafton at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
