Softball Recap: Astoria/VIT Takes a Loss

Astoria/VIT lost against Augusta Southeastern back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Rebels fell just short of the Suns by a score of 8-7. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Astoria/VIT saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was C Sutton, who scored two runs while going 2-for-5.

Astoria/VIT's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Augusta Southeastern, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Astoria/VIT will venture away from home to challenge West Prairie at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Augusta Southeastern, they will take on Hamilton at 4:30 p.m. on the 15th.
