Preview: West Shores vs. Holtville
West Shores is 0-4 against Holtville since December of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The West Shores Wildcats will head out on the road to square off against the Holtville Vikings at 5:30 p.m.
West Shores fell victim to Vincent Memorial's stalwart defense on Tuesday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were the victim of a rough 5-0 loss at the hands of the Scots. West Shores has struggled against Vincent Memorial recently, as their match on Tuesday was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.
In what's become a running theme this season, Holtville gave their fans yet another huge victory on Tuesday. They never let Calipatria onto the board and left with a 7-0 victory. The win was nothing new for Holtville as they're now sitting on nine straight.
They hit Calipatria with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from

Bryan Mesa,
Jeshua Garcia, and
Alexis Yarem Ruiz.
West Shores' loss dropped their record down to 8-11-1. As for Holtville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 16-4-5 record this season.
West Shores might still be hurting after the 6-0 defeat they got from Holtville in their previous meeting back in January. Can West Shores avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
