Football Game Recap: Arkansas Christian Academy Knights vs. Southwest Christian Academy Lions

This season hasn't been kind to The Arkansas Christian Academy Knights, who are still winless after their ninth game. They were dealt a 70-18 defeat at the hands of Southwest Christian Academy on Friday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Arkansas Christian Academy in their matchups with Southwest Christian Academy: they've now lost six in a row.

Thomas Stewart was his usual excellent self, rushing for 143 yards and five touchdowns on only eight carries, while also throwing for 204 yards and two touchdowns on only 16 passes. Stewart is on a roll when it comes to solo tackles, as he's now made six or more in the last three games he's played. Dominic Ferguson was another key contributor, picking up 152 receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Arkansas Christian Academy's defeat was their fifth straight at home (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-9. As for Southwest Christian Academy, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-6.
