Volleyball Recap: St. Francis Starts Season with Victory at Home + How To Watch

St. Francis took care of business in their home opener on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Vacaville Bulldogs by a score of 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Troubadours also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2022.

St. Francis had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-10, 25-17, 25-20.

Leading St. Francis to victory were Malia Fat and Kelsey Granner. Fat had 16 digs, while Granner had four digs and two aces.

This is the second loss in a row for Vacaville and nudges their season record down to 5-3.

Coming up, St. Francis will head out to challenge West Park at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Vacaville, they will face off against Folsom at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
