North Kingstown faced Barrington in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Skippers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Eagles. The win was just business as usual for the Skippers, who after 19 games remain undefeated this season.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-10, 25-16.

North Kingstown had a senior duo take command as Stephen Dufour had 14 digs and three aces and Evan Shea had 18 assists and ten digs. Those three aces set a new season-high mark for Dufour.

North Kingstown pushed their record up to 19-0 with the victory, which was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Barrington, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Kingstown will host Cranston East at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Thunderbolts will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Skippers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Barrington, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Tolman at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
