Wyalusing Valley has gone 9-1 against Wellsboro recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Rams will head out on the road to square off against the Hornets at 4:30 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Friday just wasn't the day for Wyalusing Valley's offense. They came up short against Northwest Area on Friday, falling 8-0. The Rams have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Towanda hit Wellsboro with a five-run sixth inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Hornets lost 10-0 to the Black Knights. The Hornets have struggled against the Black Knights recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Wyalusing Valley's loss dropped their record down to 7-10. As for Wellsboro, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-8.

Wyalusing Valley skirted past Wellsboro 6-4 when the teams last played back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Rams since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
