Basketball Game Preview: Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter Raiders vs. Cathedral Fighting Irish

The Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter Raiders just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Cathedral Fighting Irish at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter saw some tournament action on Monday. They took a 56-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of Herron. That's two games in a row now that the Raiders have lost by exactly eight points.

Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Cathedral's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They lost 64-41 to Noblesville. The Fighting Irish were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 64-12.

Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter will have to keep a close watch on Precious Anuka and Jaeda Wilson, a pair of players who had a big impact on Cathedral's prior game. Anuka went 5 of 10 on her way to 12 points, while Wilson posted ten points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Caroline Wiggins, who put up six points.

This is the second loss in a row for Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter and nudges their season record down to 7-9. As for Cathedral, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-7.
