It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Taylor County had no problem doing just that on Wednesday. They never let the Manchester Blue Devils onto the board and left with a 23-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won 13 matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Molleigh Gassett made a big impact no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going 3-for-3 with four RBI and two doubles.
