Baseball Recap: Apache Comes Up Short

Apache was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Riverside Indian Braves. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Braves apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Apache's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Riverside Indian, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Apache will face off against Mountain View-Gotebo at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Warriors their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Riverside Indian, they will challenge Lookeba-Sickles at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in the Braves' favor as the squad sits on 12 straight wins at home while the Panthers have been banged up by eight consecutive losses on the road.
