Softball Recap: Gilmer County Titans vs. Braxton County Eagles
Gilmer County won the last time they faced Braxton County and things went their way on Saturday too. Gilmer County blew past Braxton County 18-1.
Addison Godfrey was a major factor no matter where she played. She tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk any time she's pitched this season. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024.
