Football Recap: Milledgeville Wins Going Away Against Abundant Life/St. Ambrose Academy

The Milledgeville Missiles made easy work of Abundant Life/St. Ambrose Academy on Friday and carried off a 46-20 victory. With the Missiles ahead 46-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Despite the loss, Abundant Life/St. Ambrose Academy still got an impressive performance from Jeremiah Ethen, who picked up 43 receiving yards and two scores. Ethen also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making two total tackles and defending one pass in addition to snagging an interception.

Milledgeville has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 38.0 points this season. As for Abundant Life/St. Ambrose Academy, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, Milledgeville will head out on the road to square off against Ashton-Franklin Center at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Missiles' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Abundant Life/St. Ambrose Academy, they will be playing at home against South Beloit at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
