With a playoff win on the line, Cocke County rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They strolled past the Seymour Eagles with points to spare, taking the game 60-41. The Fighting Cocks haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Despite the loss, Seymour still got an impressive performance from Ayden Huskey, who went 6-for-7 en route to 13 points. Huskey continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. David Canterbury was another key player, putting up ten points.

Cocke County's victory bumped their record up to 11-19. As for Seymour, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-20 record this season.

Cocke County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 72-61 defeat against Fulton on the 22nd. Seymour does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
