Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Hun

Hun won the last time they faced Stuart Country Day, and Gabby D'Agostino did her part to make sure it happened again. The Hun Raiders put the hurt on Stuart Country Day with a sharp 68-46 win on Wednesday thanks in part to D'Agostino, who went 9 of 18 en route to 31 points in addition to seven assists and six boards. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Hun's points.

Another player making a difference was CeeJay Thomas, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds. What's more, she also racked up three steals, the most she's had since back in December of 2024.

The victory (which was Hun's fourth in a row) raised their record to 19-5. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.8 points per game. As for Stuart Country Day, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Hun will head out on the road to square off against Mercersburg Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Mercersburg Academy will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something Hun surely won't give up without a fight. Stuart Country Day has already played their next matchup (against Pennington), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
