Softball Recap: East Allegheny Takes a Loss

East Allegheny fell victim to McGuffey and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They came up short against the Highlanders, falling 11-0. The defeat leaves the Wild Cats still looking for their first win of the season.

East Allegheny's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for McGuffey, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. East Allegheny will face off against rival Keystone Oaks at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, McGuffey is set to take on their familiar foe South Park at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Highlanders are on a five-game streak of home wins, the Eagles a five-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
