Summit Shasta made up a huge gap compared to their last game against More, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Black Bears fell just short of the Knights by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday. Summit Shasta saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Aaron Mendoza, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base. Mendoza has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last seven times he's played.

Summit Shasta's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 6-1 and their overall record down to 9-9. As for More, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-8 record this season.
